☻☻October Lip Monthly Unboxing 2014 + September REVIEW☻☻

Lip Monthly is a monthly subscription box for LIP products (plus one non-lip item.) Every month, they will send out a new set of lip products. Sometimes the lip boxes have different colors but usually they are all the same brand.

I was not given this box. All opinions are my own. Based off my preferences! :D
Cost: $10 per month
You can use the coupon code FALL5 and get your first box for only $5
They ship to the U.S., Canada, and Internationally

This is my fourth Lip Monthly Box.

If you do a video review of the box and send them a link to to the public video you get 25 points! You must log into your Lip Monthly account to upload the link to get the points.
They used to throw in an extra item if you had done a video review.

If someone uses your referral link  you get your first bag free and 50 points for any additional referrals.

This is the new bag! I love it. I hope they switch the bags up like Ipsy does.

Below is the card that comes with the items. There are no prices on this card (Lip Monthly has included them in the past) So, the prices listed are ones that I found on the websites (unless posted otherwise with each product.)

Here is a before

 And an after
I think it looks good with the BIG smokey looking eyes.
Here is a swatch of this color on my hand. Ha ha. So different. It is creamy and feels nice! Not too greasy or anything.

Just a brown sugar lip scrub VERY oily. I could have made this myself but.. maybe it was made with coconut oil or something. Ha ha.

This lip balm was bizarre! It is extremely greasy and had a VERY strong tingle.

This bag came with a Noyah coupon! 20% off your purchase of lipstick, lip gloss, and lip balms when you use the code "Lipmonthly" at checkout. This code didn't work for me when I tried to use it. I put the code into checkout and clicked apply and it said it was applied but nothing was taken off my total. So, I'm not sure about that...

It has as a nice feel and gives me a slightly darker hue. I like it.
Below is a before and after on my lips!

It didn't make me look paler lol the lighting just changed.. I like it.

Here is the swatch on my hand.

I haven't tried this yet. I might try it once then pass it on. I already have two! I really don't need three but if it's better than my other pencil one I might.

The swatch on my hand.. lol sorry it's blurry. I'm tired from school work and editing. It's black folks.. it is creamy and feels nice.

Total spent for the bag: $10
Total bag is worth: $28.93
Total saved: $18.93

That is a win! Thank you so much for following along. Here is the video unboxing of this bag!

Julep Polish Review

Hello! So a couple weeks ago I did a haul on some Julep items I got. I decided to do a nail polish review on these because they are pretty expensive ($14 each.) I got the three above (that silver thing is a cuticle cream. I'm reviewing the grey one today. It is the color "Stevie - Boho Glam."
You can see it in the swatch picture in the middle below.

The formula is very pigmented. I only did ONE coat on each nail. That.. has never happened for me before. Ha ha.

The picture below was taken just minutes after applying it. I took this picture quickly and had to leave the house. I cleaned up the edges a little better when I got home. Ha ha. Don't judge.

Below is a picture taken the next day. I'm a little disappointed. I did a full bottom coat of clear, one coat of Stevie - Boho Glam, then a top coat (including sealing the ends.)

It is already peeling up. The pictures don't show it but the third day was a hot mess. I have NYC polishes that last longer. I have wet n' wild that lasts longer! Why would I spend $14 on this? Well, there are too reasons. The first one is the one coat (it's faster), the second one is the colors (have you SEEN the purple? I'm agog), and the third one is they are 3-free, 4-free, and even 5-free!!

If you want to watch me unbox these the link is below!

South Korea/Amazon Gift Haul

So, my husband's aunt travels to South Korea a lot and she got me all this stuff! Treats and some things from Amazon too. I thought I would share it with you.

Above are two rolls (total of 8) hello kitty ribbon! Can't wait to make bows from it. I might put one on Sookie (one of my dogs.) Next to them are three big foam character stickers! Below the ribbon are press on phrases that come with a little stick you push on them against something and it comes off onto the material. One bag of glue sticks which I've already used an entire stick! Ha ha. This stuff is my crack. Below the glue sticks are dry eraser markers which I use EVERY DAY on my dry erase board. Finally, those green packs are Christmas cardboard lettering.

In the picture above is a butter waffle cookie, some pineapple cookies with cream inside, a cracker with chocolate on one side, some seaweed strips, and training chopsticks. First off all.... all of this is gone. Ha ha. A picture of the seaweed strips is below. I had these for the first time while visiting Hubbin's grandmother in N.Y. I'm so glad she threw one of these in. Yum. Yum. I've used and mastered the training chopsticks I'm glad to say and I've started using them without the little monkey (I call him Chow.)

Hubbin's doesn't like anyyyyy kind of seafood so I had these all to myself!

In the picture below she got me a little lipstick case, some nail art dotting tools, nail art brushes, nail art strips, and a little bag she got in South Korea. I ADORE the lipstick holder. It lives in my purse now. I'm so glad my favorite go to lipstick fits inside. The nail art items have their home in the little orange bag. I'm thinking of two new nail looks I want to do with these! I'm for sure doing a snowman for xmas. Ha ha.

Below are three pictures of the lipstick case including one with my favorite lipstick in it.

 Soooooooooo lovely.

Finally, she got me this adorable and FUNNY bag! It's "engrish" The way you would spell Yappy is .. Yappy not Yappee dog. I adore this bag and I take my books to school in it. It has a silky soft liner in it too. Adorbs.

Anyway, not bragging. I love to see what other people buy and get so I figure there has to be ONE person out there who does too. Enjoy! Especially, a haul like this when it is more unusual things. She is a gifting genius. Not everyone would love all of this. Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic day and thank you so much for following along.

My Photography CHOSEN!

I won!

My college asked that the students at the school enter in photos so they could hand some in the halls at the school. Six photos were chosen and mine was one of them. Above is me with my picture "Lemon Eclipse." Below is the hall with all the entries.

These flowers were on the reception desk at school. So, pretty for fall right? Anyway, I'm super excited about my photograph being chosen. They bought it from me and framed it. Once, the school year is up I get to keep the photo! Just wanted to share this. Photography isn't something that I'm trying to pursue but I'm in love with it. This is the only thing I've ever won!

♥Ipsy October Bag Unboxing 2014♥

Ipsy is a monthly subscription box for Beauty and Makeup products. When you sign up for Ipsy you do a little quiz that helps Ipsy chose the products to send you.

I was not given this box. All opinions are my own. Based off my preferences! :D
Cost: $10 per month
They ship to the U.S. and Canada only

This is my first Ipsy bag.

This bag is called Beauty Candy (Candy for Halloween maybe?). It says to share a pic of your October Glam Bag and tag @ipsy in it. Also, to hashtag #ipsy and #beautycandy for a chance to win a 1-year subscription to even more glam bag goodies to satisfy your craving!

My Promises! I was not compensated in any way for the products in the video above. It will always be my honest opinion about the products. If I am ever compensated for products, I will let you know.

The first item below is a Doll 10 H2go Highlighter in the color "Champagne" This product isn't available for purchase yet. Their CC powder is $30 and their concealer is $28.50 so I'm just going to say this is $28. It is super creamy (so much so that it feels almost like a potted gloss!) It is just a highlighter and very sheer. It leaves a little shimmer behind.

The next item is this hand cream from Figs & Rouge in the scent "Mango Mandarin" 20ml $6.56. The scent is overwhelmingly mango and WONDERFUL. I'm in love with this. It isn't the least bit oily and soaks into the hands immediately.

The third item is a Indie Lee Brightening cleanser 0.5oz $6?? I'm excited about this and it smells like fruit punch to me! Full size is 4oz for $32!

The next item is the only one in the bag that I wasn't happy to see. I wish there was ONE item we could not receive in a bag. Mine would be lip gloss. Lip products are my favorites but I can't stand a lip gloss so this will go to my cousin. Starlooks Lip Gloss in "Guilty Pleasure." $4?? (Full size is $12)

Below are before and after swatches of this lip gloss! On top are my lips with no product and below is this Guilty Pleasure lip gloss.

Finally, the last item in my bag is this Skone Cosmetics Tattooed Waterproof Eyeliner- $15 FULL SIZE!

Here are swatches of the lotion, highlighter, lip gloss, and eye liner. The lotion immediately sank in and the highlight only has the faintest of shimmers to it. The lip gloss is on the right and the eye liner is on the left. I'm REALLY excited about this eyeliner for Halloween! I've never used anything but pencils and I'm glad I got this to try before I went out and purchased one full price.

Honestly, I'm THRILLED with this bag. I adore the bag itself (almost worth the $10 for me) and four out of five of the items I will use and enjoy (hopefully.) With the exception of the lip gloss. This bag is a WIN.

Bag Price: $10

Bag Total: $59.56
Savings: $49.56! (Of course this is questionable since almost all the products aren't for sale anywhere or they are deluxe samples which have to be calculated.

Watch me unbox this bag HERE!

Thank you so much for following along!
