♥December Ipsy Unboxing 2014 + November Review♥

1. Bumble and Bumble Straight Blow Dry Balm 0.5oz $2.90 (Full size is 5oz for $20)

This is a heat protecting styling balm that helps smooth and straighten your hair while blow drying. It says the effects last up to three days. This particular formula is for curly, thick, coarse, frizzy, unmanageable, or unruly hair. Which... is pretty much the definition of my hair. I'm looking forward to using this if it works!

2. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-1 mascara 3ML $8.50 (Full Size is 7ml $20)

I'm IN LOVE with this mascara already. I tried it out in my video (you can find that at the bottom of this post.) I've NEVER had a mascara hold my lashes in a curl for more than five minutes. I'm not even joking! This mascara HELD THEM UP. I'm shocked. I didn't want to take it off. Magic.

3. Crown Deluxe Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush $6.99 (marked down from $17.50) FULL SIZE!

I haven't tried this yet and it is my first double sided brush. I've already caught myself trying to stick it in the cup with my other brushes. Which.. I don't want to do because the end pointed down will get nasty/crushed. So, already there is a con to it. I like the smaller end (for crease) so I think I'll use it for that most. I'll get back to you on whether I like this brush. I'm glad it is in the bag though!

4. NYX Butter Lip Balm in "Ladyfingers" $4

I love this! I'm a NYX and tinted lip balm fan though. I love the subtle pop of pink color and it isn't waxy at all. I with the shape wasn't a flat top but it went on smooth. This will be going in my purse!

5. Cailyn Cosmetics Just Mineral Eye Polish - 005 "Orchid" $15 FULL SIZE!

I LOVE THIS! Check out these cool things you can do with this down below. I love the color, the color payoff, and the blendability. Plus, I want to try to make it into a lipcolor, nail polish, gold mascara, and eye liner too! Ha ha.

That is a win! Almost worth 4x what I paid for it and full of exciting things. December is for sure my favorite bag. Although.. it is my least favorite physical bag. The bag is just black with a pink ipsy tag. I would have expected more for a Christmas bag!

This is the new bag! I love it. I hope they keep switching up the bags up like Ipsy does.

1. Hikari Cosmetics Lipstick Full Size in "Cabernet" for $13

The card promised dark colors and this is a red. Not even a brick red really. Here is a before and after with this color.

2. City Color Cosmetics White Gold Shadow & Highlight Mousse Full Size for $4

This is an AMAZING product. Feels wet and goes on like powder. I adore the color. Win!

3. Crown Lip Brush Full Size (well.. duh lol) for $3

My favorite item in this bag. I never buy brushes and this is one I've always wanted (a lip one.) 

4. Ofra Lipliner Full Size in "Orchid" for $13

This is my second favorite item in the bag. I have never owned a lip liner either and I loved the way it feels on my lips. I'll be wearing this on its own and coupled with other lipsticks! Here is a before and after with this liner. Here is a before and after of this product.

5. NYC Expert Last Lipstick Full Size in "Berry Me" for $1.99

Love it! I'm pretty familiar with NYC and I wasn't surprised that I liked this product. Also, it smells like berries! Not as dark a color as I wanted though. Here is a before and after of this product.

That is a win! I loved every single item and I will use all of them. So far that is the best subscription box I've gotten to date. I really hope I get a DARK lip color in December though. They said on the card that they were giving us "dark lipsticks" but I guess my definition and theirs is different when it comes to DARK lipsticks. Ha ha. Still happy with it all though.
