1. Eslor Chlorophyll Lifting Mask - Full Size $38

I'm excited about this! The directions say to apply to my face and let it dry. I love the green color, right? Cover my face with green slime... in order to be prettier. That sounds like me. This is supposed to tighten skin, diminish fine lines, and enhance blood circulation. That sounds good. lol. 

2. Bellapierre Cosmetics Kabuki Brush - Full Size $29.99

This is my first kabuki brush! I'm excited to finally have one even though this one is TINY! The brush is more dense than I thought it would be. There was some shedding though.... so not sure about that $29.99 price tag! 

3. The Beauty Crop Lighting Crew Highlighting Cream - Full Size $18

This is interesting! I love the packaging, I love that there is pineapple, green tea, and vitamin C! It says you can use it as a regular highlight under brow or on cheeks and inner corner of they eye. OR... mix it with your foundation for a subtle glow! Or even... in a lotion.

I've read a few places that this company is launching their own subscription box! How does that work? lol. I mean.. will it just be THEIR products? Hmm. 

4. ncLA Nail Lacquer - Full Size $16

This is from their nude line - color Volume IV - I didn't want to take off my coral nail polish (because I just put it on yesterday lol) so I just took off the ring fingers and added this nude shade. I LOVE this color. I love how nude colors look on my hands. This is ONE COAT. Such an amazing formula. Not streaky, Self leavening is nice. 

5. Cargo Cosmetics Eye Shadow Single - Full Size $16 (In "Pasadena")

I'd like to start saying that a lot of people got a "Doucce Click Click Lipstick" rather than this in their boxes. My heart is shriveling up and dying every time LIPSTICK is an option and the cosmos aren't in alignment in time for me to get one. WHAT do I need to DO... in order to get the sticks for my LIPS?!  Plus.... it clickclicks.. to open? I might just buy myself one. Shame. 

Moving on.... this pinkie lavender shade is unusual and on any other day I'd be thrilled with it. I like cargo eyeshadows.

MAY REVIEW

I like this bronze shimmer for my temples and what not (I don't use it on my cheeks) it leaves a nice glow on my pale-ish skin without looking dirty.

Perfection. I love this COLOR and formula. The Lip Bar has crazy shades though so I'm not sure how soon I'll be purchasing another of their lipsticks.

This is amazing! I tried the darkest shade first because my brows are BLLLACKKKKK. It was TOO dark though. I prefer the middle brown shade. I use the lightest shade as an eyeshadow! This is a VERY pigmented little trio. I have to use a REALLY light hand with it.

The spoolie on this brush is normal. Nothing FANTASTIC to say about it lol but I have a complaint about the brush end. It is SO stiff that sometimes I forget and try and run it through my brow BACKWARD.. and it huuuuuuuurts. OUCH. I've done it TWICE and it was painful. I still use it every day though. lol. 

I didn't have a color like this. I like the formula well enough. I'll always enjoy trying new colors of polish!

There is a wide variety of options for Ipsy bags. You take a quiz when you first sign up (this can be retaken as many times as you like). This effects what is in your bag each month. Each time you get a bag you have the option of reviewing the items you received. I've found that this is the best way to effect what you get in your bag each month. The more reviews you complete the more likely you are to like your bags. 

1. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer 0.25oz $8 (Full Size 0.50oz $16)

A lot of people got either this primer or a lipstick. I wish I got the lipstick... because I love them. If I had gotten the lipstick this would have been the HOLY GRAIL OF HEAVENLY bags. The PERFECT of all PERFECTION. I will use this primer and it is awesome QUALITY being a smashbox primer. Just not my favorite item. HUGE plus though... it smells like fruit. Ha ha. I can't stop smelling it. 

2. BioRepublic Skincare Face Masks $4.99 each (3 for $14.95)
- Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Fiber Mask (For Hydration)

- Cucumber Breeze Soothing Fiber Mask (Tightens pores, reduces fine lines, and soothes)

- Green Tea Detox Purifying Fiber Mask (Reduces appearance of blemishes, cleans, and provides anti-oxidants)

Holy smokes. Could I BE any happier?! I'm addicted to face masks. To get THREE different ones in one bag? OVER THE MOON. I would be happy with masks in every bag. lol. Not joking.

These are paraben free and dermatologist tested. All three have Vitamin E.

3. Jules and Esther Facial serum No. 24 Vitamin C 0.5Fl Oz $10.50 (Full Size 1.1Fl Oz $36)

What? What.... kind of MIND reading is happening with this bag? I wanted a serum.. Ipsy provides. This one smells AMAZING (like oranges - vit C) but I've used it twice and I ADORE it. I wish a full size didn't cost an arm and a leg. I might repurchase though when i'm done. I was afraid it might break me out but so far it hasn't. 

"Lightweight serum. Keeps skin hydrated while reducing signs of aging. Hyaluronic Acid plumps and replenishes. Jojoba oil mimics skins natural oil for light moisture."

4. Formula X Nail Polish "Power Source" 4ml $3.50 (Full size 12ml $10.50)

This is a hot coral 2 coat nail polish. I like the color (I can't wait to get less pinks/corals though.. BLUES AND GREENS!!! FTW!) The most remarkable part of this polish is that the fumes aren't that horrible. I usually get a headache after painting my nails because I'm sensitive to chemicals. This almost didn't have a scent at all though. It was magical! NO HEADACHE! I want more colors. I wasn't upset getting a mini size either because I've honestly never finished a polish. Ha ha.

5. TreStiQue Mini Shadow Crayon "Marimoto Pink Pearl" $10.66 (Three Minis like this is $32)

TreStiQue... those big kidders. I've heard that I'm not the only one who pulled this product out and assumed the lid had come off during shipping. Upon closer inspection.. the LID looks like a pointed version of the product. Har har har. The actual product is rounded as you can see in the picture above. 

I love the pinkie nude shade I received. I really like these eye-shadow crayons too. So happy to have this little product too!

APRIL REVIEW

I didn't like the purple lip gloss sample so I gave both to my cousin. I like the OZONE clear lip crayon though to outline my lips. It keeps my red lipsticks in CHECK! That being said I don't think it works any better than my drugstore versions so I won't be repurchasing.

This was a weird watery lotion that sprayed (which is fine..) but it weighed my hair down. I passed it along to my cousin.

I'm actually in love with It Cosmetics because of subscription boxes. I'm so glad I received this sample. I WILL be getting this again but probably in a shade lighter.

LOVE this pencil. The teal color is beautiful and unique.

When I used the first set I didn't realize I had them on BACKWARD. The small point is meant to be on the inside by your nose. I wore the second set the correct way (looked at the pics lol) and they were comfortable. I wish I had some more of these cooling little eye masks. So, I will most like repurchase them in the future.

1. ModelCo Bronze Shimmer - Full Size - $22

The swatch of this is just to the left of the purple stripe in the photo below.

I thought this would be too dark for me but I actually really like the color. I don't wear bronzer much so I will probably use this more often as an eye-shadow because I don't have a color like this. I'm super excited to receive this product.

2. The Lip Bar Lipstick in "Purple Rain" Full Size $20

My favorite item int his box... the LIPSTICK. I don't have a color like this so I was super excited to get it. I know there were a few colors circulating but this brand is BOLD so I know not everyone was happy with getting this color. I love it. It is creamy and applies easy to the lips. It isn't low wearing but it is Friday night and I ate a piece of pizza just now and it is STILL on. That is impressive. Also, the swatch on my hand stained. 

The description says "Handcrafted with a unique blend of natural ingredients such as Vit E, shea butter, and avocado oil, these lipsticks are designed to moisturize, soften, and amplify lips while setting you apart." This has lived up to those claims so far!

3. Bodyography Essential Brow Trio - Full Size $19

The swatch for this product starts above the bronzer and moves to the downward. Starting with the palest shade you can't see above the bronze. It is matte and matches my skin. the second darkest shade is in the middle and finally on the bottom is the darkest. 

I have BLACK brows so the third and darkest shade will be what I test out. I use everything as eye-shadows as well so I'm excited to try this as that as well.

4. Bodyography Brow Brush - Full Size $19

I'm glad they included this brush in the box. It just makes sense with the brow trio, I think. Both ends are extremely TOUGH and thick but that is what I expect from a brow brush. I don't want them to be flimsy. They felt soft enough on my brows so I'm happy with this so far.

5. Lauren B. Beauty Nail Polish - Full Size $18 (bottle sticker says I'mSoLA but I think I got Polo Lounge Punch - see below)

Below is ONE coat. It was ALMOST completely opaque with one coat which I've NEVER used anything that was anything BUT two full coats. If I had a little more on my brush it would have been opaque on ONE coat. That is just fantastic.

Below is two full coats.

I've never had a nail polish last through a shower. Not my essie, julieg, sinfulcolors,nyc....etc. Not a single polish lasts shower even if I use base,colo,top coats and seal each. This polish DID. No chipping. I'm really impressed.

I like nail polish and I'll always be glad to see it in a box. That being said this wouldn't be my FIRST choice of shade. I'm not even 100% which shade I received. The sticker on the bottom of my bottle said "I'mSoLA" but.. it looks nothing like what ImSoLA is on the website. On the website I'mSoLA is a lighter pink. There is a red on the website called Rodeo Drive... that clearly isn't what I have. But.. there is an in-between that isn't red but isn't light pink called "Polo Lounge Punch". 

I took my pictures in the sunlight so you could see the PINK in it because indoors and in the shade it looks like a classic red. I'm sure I received "Polo Lounge Punch." My bottle in person looks most like the center as well. Here are all three shades from the website.

I love every single item in this box this month! Boxycharm is a HUGE savings if you would actually buy these products at these prices. I love getting it as it feels like a luxury. I can't wait for the summer boxes.

~~APRIL REVIEW~~

LINK to this unboxing and swatches from last month

This is my second revealed palette from boxycharm and I LOVE them. I actually purged my eye-shadow collection of a lot of colors after getting this. They can be powdery but with a good primer I don't have any fallout from these. I use mostly the bottom row of colors though. 

 I love the color this has when they are swirled together but I've used it several times as a full eye-shadow look and it was perfect! I love these gold looks at the top was a perfect highlight of course.

 I have very frizzy hair so this product was an excellent one! It didn't weigh down my hair and took care of the frizziness. Plus I really enjoy the sweet smell. I'll repurchase this when I run out.

I'm super sensitive to any fragrance I wear normally but this one is powerful and didn't burn my lungs. I love the scent and I will repurchase when I use it up! I've never purchased a full size bottle of perfume so I'm excited that I finally have one I can wear.

 We received a Jing Ai lip crayon in February's box so I knew I loved these. I had the same color twice so they sent me out the pink-a-boo shade and I passed this one along to a friend. They are creamy, pigmented, and perfect!
